One service. One outcome.

Translation and Maintenance

We translate your site into AI’s native language — schema, structured data, semantic markup, citation infrastructure — and we maintain that translation as AI assistants update what they ingest and how they cite. One offering. One outcome: AI cites you reliably.

Phase 1

Translation. A one-time engineering pass.

No-obligation guarantee.

If you don’t approve our translation, there is no further obligation.

We translate the site once, end-to-end, and prove it with a measurable lift on the 13-signal score. The deliverable is a fully translated site, tested against every major AI system, with the receipts to back it. Typical translation phase runs two to three weeks depending on surface area.

What translation includes

  • Full audit against the 13-signal GEO framework, with a starting score and a target.
  • Schema.org JSON-LD injected on every meaningful surface, typed to the entities the site is actually about.
  • Content density tuning — semantic markup, heading hierarchy, citation-ready prose.
  • Citation infrastructure — llms.txt, sitemap topology, well-known files, bot access controls.
  • Clean-room HTML rendering for AI crawlers; the human-facing site stays exactly as it is.

Methodology and reproducibility receipts: 100-site benchmark · whitepaper v5.1.

Phase 2

Maintenance. Because AI moves.

Translation is the engineering pass. Maintenance is the discipline that keeps the translation accurate as AI assistants change what they read, how they parse, and what they cite. We stand behind the translation; once it’s working, you stay on maintenance because it keeps working.

Initial term

90-day contract, beginning the day translation is approved.

On contract review at day 90

Converts to a 12-month evergreen agreement.

What maintenance includes

  • Continuous schema and markup updates as AI ingestion standards evolve.
  • Real-time score tracking on the 13-signal framework, dimension by dimension.
  • Quarterly methodology recalibration — we update the playbook when the AI systems update theirs.
  • Alerts when a new AI bot user-agent emerges that affects the site’s citation paths.
  • Bot crawl logging and citation-traffic reporting, with month-over-month trend analysis.

Commercial terms, in one paragraph

Translation is delivered first. If you don’t approve our translation, there is no further obligation. If you do approve it, the engagement begins a 90-day Maintenance contract. Upon contract review at day 90, the agreement converts to a 12-month evergreen. No bait, no surprise tiers, no hidden retainers.

What does fluency cost?

A ballpark, in 30 seconds.

Translation is a one-time build; Maintenance is a monthly retainer that begins the day translation is approved. The interactive estimator at geolocus.ai/services#estimator produces a ballpark on both, given five inputs: site URL (auto-detects sitemap), industry, revenue model, average transaction value, and current page count.

Multipliers are real-signal-driven: heavier-regulated industries (healthcare, finance, legal) carry larger translation surface; commerce and lead-gen revenue models carry larger maintenance value than info-only sites; higher transaction values shift the ceiling up because the citation lift compounds against more revenue per conversion. Build floor is $3,000; maintenance floor is $300/month.

For scale: the median Fortune 500 spends $10–30M/year on paid search. A competitive AI citation layer is roughly 1–3% of that budget — and compounds differently. The AI that cites you today trains the model that cites you tomorrow.

Frequently asked

The questions buyers actually ask.

How is this different from SEO?

SEO optimizes a site for search-engine ranking algorithms. Translation rewrites the parts of the site that AI assistants read — structured data, schema, semantic markup, citation infrastructure — so AI systems can verify and cite you instead of approximating you. Different layer, different outcome, different metric.

How long is the Translation phase?

Two to three weeks for most engagements. Larger surface areas (10K+ pages) and heavily regulated industries (healthcare, finance, legal) run longer. The estimator gives you a ballpark; on the call we scope the timeline.

What happens if AI ingestion standards change mid-contract?

Maintenance is full-service, not just an AI-behavior watch-list. We operate the optimized translation-layer infrastructure: test it daily, refine where needed, and mirror changes you make on your human-facing site into the translation layer within 24 hours. We also adjust to schema.org changes, AI bot user-agent updates, ingestion-spec drift, and citation-pattern shifts as they happen. You don’t track the spec; we do.

Can I cancel during the 90-day Maintenance phase?

Yes. The 90-day term is a baseline commitment that lets the maintenance work compound. If you need to exit before day 90, contact us — we handle it case by case rather than via a punitive cancel clause.

Is the 12-month evergreen automatic?

It auto-renews on each anniversary unless either party gives written notice in advance. The contract review at day 90 is when both sides decide whether to convert; once converted, the evergreen is intentionally the default state because the work is intentionally compounding.

Do you publish a rate card?

No. Every engagement is scoped to the site’s starting GEO score, target dimensions, content surface area, and reporting cadence. The estimator gives a ballpark efficiently; the call sharpens it.
